Construction Begins for Medieval Party 2010

One of the best parties each year in Club Penguin is the Medieval Party and this year it will run from May 7 through May 16. If you log into Club Penguin today, you’ll see that construction for the party has already begun. In previous medieval parties, many of the areas in Club Penguin have been transformed completely into fantasy places like castles, dungeons, and tree forts. Judging from the construction, this year should be just as festive.

Work is also underway at the Plaza

The write-up in the Club Penguin Times this week also reveals that there will be two members-only quests this year. Last year had one maze quest to find the golden knight armor. And there’s a hint about something causing a big noise underground. We’ll have to wait until the party starts at the end of the week to find out what that’s all about.

Club Penguin Mission 11 – Another Delay

Well, Club Penguin is trying to pass this off as “a new mission update” but the news is really that we all have to wait longer–a lot longer for Mission 11. There is a new blog post on the main Club Penguin blog and it provides a new sketch, but what it’s really saying is that Mission 11 is still months away. Remember that it’s been fourteen months already since Mission 10 came out, so it could be as much as a year and a half between missions. I sure hope this one is really good, because PSA members really haven’t had much to do for a very long time.

There aren’t many details about the mission given out in this latest “update.” The picture is of Herbert sitting at a computer with Klutzy and laughing. And all they really say is that Herbert is very determined. Well, duh!

At least there’s more time for new penguins to get ready and do all the earlier missions so that they can play Mission 11 once it is released. If you need help or all of the missions, we’ve got it here:

The fourth anniversary party on Club Penguin is has arrived and it’s huge. Don’t forget it. The party will last for just one day…today! So you don’t want to miss it! It takes place inside the Coffee Shop in the Town Center.

The Coffee Shop

The coffee shop is the center of the party, as always. Both the inside and the outside of the coffee shop are decorated for the party.

4th Year Party Hat

The 4th Year Party Hat is hidden inside the huge piÃ±ata hanging above the stairs. Click on it and then the hat will fall down to the floor below, where you can walk over it to pick it up.

The Yearbook

The new yearbook, which looks back at all the events from October 2008 through October 2009, is upstairs in the book room.

Club Penguin Igloo Decorating Contest Open

The igloo decorating contest is now open in Club Penguin. Anyone can enter, even if you’re a non-member (although what you’d decorate with is a real mystery!) To enter your igloo into the contest, click on the golden igloo icon that appears when you’re in an igloo. A new furniture catalog for igloos comes out in a few hours and it will have plenty of cool new items to decorate with, along with some cheats, secrets and hidden items.

Club Penguin Clothing Catalog Cheats for September 2009

The newest issue of Penguin Style, the Club Penguin clothing catalog, is out. The catalog features a back-to-school theme with some good looking outfits and even a laptop computer that you can buy for your penguin. It looks like a Macbook, but with a puffle logo instead of an apple. Cool!

There are also a few hidden items, but not many this year. I think the Club Penguin creators were too busy with the Fall Fair to make very many cheats for this catalog. They even have a broken cheat glitch this time! Keep reading to find out what it is.

Black Bowtie

Click on the mouse to get the black bowtie.

Red Viking Helmet

The Red Viking helmet of course returns. Click on the piano keys to get it. Then click on the red viking helmet and repeat four times to get the blue viking helmet.

Broken Cheat

It looks like Club Penguin was going to hide one more item on the clearance page. If you click on the letter A in the green word CLEARANCE it activates the Flouncy wig, which is already on the page.

Club Penguin Fall Fair 2009

The Club Penguin Fall Fair 2009 is here! It’s a huge event with lots of games, prizes and a lot of great Club Penguin cheats and secrets. There’s even an awesome puffle circus for members to see. The fair will run all the way through September 13. Here is a guide to everything that you can do at the fair!

Fall Fair Games

The main attraction at the Club Penguin Fall Fair 2009 is the large number of special games that you can play. All of these games are easy and fun, just like at a real county fair. All of the games feature puffles as the star attractions. You play the games to earn tickets, which you can then redeem for prizes. Important: if you log out of the game, you lose any tickets you have won, so make sure you go redeem your tickets for prizes right away. But even if you forget or get disconnected, don’t worry. It’s really easy to win fall fair tickets quickly. I’ll show you how!

Ring the Bell

This is a really easy game that you can play over at the Dock. All you have to do is click and hold your mouse button to aim and then release the mouse button when it is near full-strength to hit the bell. When you do, you’ll get 25 tickets. Practice a few times and you’ll get the timing down. If you want, you could earn all the tickets you’ll ever need very quickly just by playing this one game at the fair.

Memory Card Game

This is a fun variation of the common memory game where you match the different pictures on the cards. You get more coins if you match all the cards is a low number of tries. You’ll find the game over at the Beach right next to the lighthouse.

Feed-A-Puffle

Waddle on over to the Cove to play Feed-A-Puffle. In this game, you shoot O-Berries through a hose and try to get them into the mouths of puffles when they pop up out of their holes. There are a few different colors of puffles that appear, and each color is a little harder than the one you saw before. The harder puffles are worth more points. You have to get the o-berry into the puffle’s mouth, so don’t try to shoot it in when the puffle has its mouth shut or is not facing you. Here are the different color puffles and the number of points you get for each:

Blue Puffle: 2 points
Red Puffle: 4 points
Black Puffle: 6 points
Pink Puffle: 8 points
Green Puffle: 10 points

Puffle Shuffle

Keep your eyes on the puffles underneath the hats in this quick game of switcheroo. It’s easiest to only try to keep track of two of the puffles at a time. Or just keep your eye on one and take your chances!

Club Penguin Puffle Soaker

This game can only be played by members in the special more games area in the Snow Forts. In puffle soaker, you aim a hose and try to hit pictures of puffles that go by. The more you get in a row, the higher a combo bonus you’ll get. You want to avoid soaking pictures of famous penguins, like Gary the Gadget Guy, Aunt Arctic, and Rockhopper. Also, some things that go by will fly towards you, like a slice of pizza or a fish. When these come, you need to duck to avoid them or you’ll lose points. Puffle Soaker is one of the harder games to play but it can be fun.

Balloon Pop

In this game, you move a puffle in the air by using a fan and try to knock targets that fall down into cactus walls. When you knock them into the walls, they pop and tickets fall out, which you then need to catch. At the same time, you need to keep your puffle from hitting the cactus walls. I think this is the hardest game of all at the Fall Fair.

Fall Fair Prizes

There are two prize booths at the Fall Fair. One is for everyone and is in the Forest. The other prize booth is located in the members only area. Here are the prizes that everyone can get with their Fall Fair tickets:

Feathered Tiara: 100 tickets
Cosmic Star Hat: 100 tickets
Cotton Candy Pin: 50 tickets
Fair Beacon Background: 50 tickets

Here are the prizes that members can get at the special prize booth in the members-only area, which is outside the Great Puffle Circus tent.

Circus Tent Igloo: 700 tickets
Fair Background: 50 tickets
Ring Master Outfit: 300 tickets
Ring Master Hat: 110 tickets
Teddy Bear: 200 tickets

The Great Puffle Circus

The Great Puffle Circus is a fun attraction at the Club Penguin Fall Fair. It is only accessible to members. You can get there from the Forest. If you go inside the tent, you can choose which color puffle act you want to see and then you’ll get a brief animation showing the puffles as circus performers.

Club Penguin Igloo Furniture Catalog Cheats for August/September 2009

There’s a new igloo furniture catalog out and it has a lot of hidden items inside the pages. Here’s an easy guide to find all of the Club Penguin Igloo Catalog cheats.

Bowling Pin

Click on the burner on the top of the stove to get the bowling pin. Now all you need is a bowling alley! Don’t worry because there’s one hidden in the catalog as well.

Bowling Alley

Click on the top left mirror on the For the Igloo page to get the Bowling Alley, which costs 700 coins.

Fridge

Click on the dials on the top left of the stove on this same page to get the Fridge for 700 coins.

Band Stage

Click on the record playing on the Gramaphone to get the Band Stage. It costs 800 coins to purchase.

Wall Speakers

Now look at the facing page and click on the DJ Tables to get the Wall Speakers for 800 coins.

Guitar Stand

Click on the stone column to get the guitar stand for 300 coins.

LCD Television

Click on the tiny flame on top of the bamboo torch to get the LCD television. It’s expensive at 2,500 coins, but your igloo will be awesome with a huge LCD TV sitting in the middle of it.

Penguin Knight Sculpture

Click on the medieval banner to get the Penguin Knight Sculpture for 900 coins.

Club Penguin Clothing Catalog Cheats for July 2009

Wow it’s already the first Friday of the month and you know what that means. It’s time for the new Club Penguin Clothing Catalog. The new issue of Penguin Style for July 2009 is here and it’s filled with lots of new clothes and styles. The catalog has a musical theme in anticipation of the upcoming Music Jam Party later this month. There are also some hidden items in this month’s catalog. Unfortunately none of the hidden items are new. They’ve all appeared in clothing catalogs before. That’s kind of disappointing, but here’s how you can find them.

Red Viking Helmet

It just isn’t an issue of Penguin Style without the Red Viking Helmet. This time it’s hidden inside the piano.

Blue Viking Helmet

Click on the Red Viking helmet to close it and then repeat three more times to get the Blue Viking Helmet.

Canteen

Click on the seashell in the middle of the group of penguins on the beach to get the canteen. The seashell is brown and small and appears right on the crease in the middle of the catalog.

Crystal Staff

Click on the word PENGUINS in the Penguins at Work section to get the crystal staff.

Woodsman’s Hat

The woodsman’s hat is back again too, and it’s in the same spot as before. Click on the window on the right to get it.

Blue Dragon Costume

The Blue Dragon costume is yours by clicking on the shadow behind the staircase. It’s the shadow of a dragon making it an obvious hiding spot.

Graduation Cap

Click on the letter C in CLEARANCE to get the Black Graduation Cap.

Fireworks on Club Penguin

It’s July 1, which is Canada Day. Of course, the U.S. Independence Day is coming up on July 4th. To celebrate both events, Club Penguin has brought back the fireworks. Once again, they’re going off at the iceberg and at the Ski Hill. If you stick around and watch for a minute or two, you’ll see a quick burst of fireworks for the “finale” and then one of the fireworks will explode into a puffle shape. The fireworks will probably be going all weekend.

Club Penguin 101 Days of Fun: Day 25

We’re one quarter of the way there. It’s Day 25 of the Club Penguin 101 Days of Fun Event and today’s activity is to go ice-fishing. Here is what the Penguin Times has to say:

Go ice fishing and hook as many fish as you can – then cook up your catch for some buddies at a party in your igloo!

I’m not a big fan of the ice fishing game, but you can play by going to the Ski Lodge and clicking on the door with the Gone Fishin’ sign.
