Captain Rockhopper has arrived once again on the island of Club Penguin. This visit in April 2001 is coinciding with the Club Penguin Earth Day party, which kicked off on Friday, April 22. You can find Rockhopper’s ship, the Migrator, docked at the Beach. Captain Rockhopper himself can also be found from time-to-time, waddling around the island and greeting penguins. Whenever Rockhopper arrives, he brings some special new items with him, which you can find inside the hold of his ship. This time, he brought a few new rare items, all designed to help celebrate Earth Day. The free item, which anyone can get, is the Island Grove background, a special player card background. Members can also purchase the following items:

• Hanging Moss (furniture item), 150 coins
• Mossy Log (furniture item), 300 coins
• Boiling Cauldron (furniture item), 500 coins

Captain Rockhopper is on his way to the Club Penguin Island to help kick off Earth Day celebrations. He arrives on April 21 and if you head up to the Beacon on top of the lighthouse, you’ll see his ship is getting pretty close. It’s always exciting when Rockhopper visits the island. He always brings new stuff for members and even a free item for everyone. Plus, you’ll get a chance to meet him and earn the coveted stamp and autographed player card background.

Rockhopper is due to arrive on April 21 to kick off the Earth Day celebrations.

Our old pal, Herbert P. Bear, is back in action and causing all kinds of problems on Club Penguin. After disappearing at the end of PSA Mission 12, Herbert re-appeared last week in a special version of the System Defender game for EPF Agents. And this week, when you check your spy phone, you’ll see that he’s left a taunting message for everyone. It says, “Hello again, Endlessly Pathetic Fools! Figured out what I’m up to yet? Don’t worry, I’m out of popcorn… But I may be ‘bugging’ you again soon.

So Herbert is up to his old tricks of trying to cause problems and warm up the island again. In a funny way, it’s good to have Herbert back again. He keeps things exciting in Club Penguin.

There’s a new pin hidden in Club Penguin again. This time, it’s the fire extinguisher pin and you’ll find it hidden up in the Dance Lounge. This is the room above the Night Club. You can enter via the stairs in the Night Club or just teleport using your EPF spy phone.

There hasn’t been much real news about the Elite Penguin Force (EPF) in a while. Of course, we’ve all been doing our weekly Field Ops missions, but despite the ongoing storyline of those missions, not much has really happened. All that is about to change. This week’s cover story in the Club Penguin Times talks about the existence of the EPF and a recent blog post from none other than Billybob shows off a robot that the EPF will need to fight. It sounds like these robots have been behind all the strange events happening over the island for the past several weeks.

The new issue of Better Igloos, the Club Penguin Igloo Furniture Catalog, is now out. It’s got a holiday decoration theme with lots of special celebratory items to place in your igloo. There are plenty of new items this year, along with some old favorites. And as always, there are lots of hidden items and cheats in the catalog. Another Club Penguin EPF Field Ops Mission has arrived. EPF agents should see their spy phones blinking red when they login. To get started, click your spy phone and teleport over to Club Penguin EPF HQ. There you can accept this week’s Field Ops assignment. This week, we learn that the signal detected in last week’s Field Ops Mission said, “Our plan is working! Get the parts from the booth.”

This week’s assignment is to locate the booth and repair any damage we find. The booth that is mentioned is the ticket booth at the Stage in the Plaza. So after accepting the assignment, use your map or the spy phone to teleport to the Plaza and then stand inside the ticket booth. When you do, your phone will light up green and vibrate. Click on it to start this week’s puzzle, which is the good old micro battery game. In this one, you need to charge up the chipsets while avoiding the red things that will zap you.

If you waddle up to the Beacon on top of the Lighthouse and peer through the telescope, you’ll see that Rockhopper’s ship, the Migrator, has appeared on the horizon. That means that Rockhopper is on his way for the Holiday Party. If you look closely at the small ship you’ll see there’s a green stripe down the front. That’s part of the Christmas decorations that Rockhopper puts on his ship each year. Expect to see Rockhopper arrive very soon!

It’s already December, and that means there’s a new issue of Club Penguin Style, the official Club Penguin clothing catalog. The theme, of course, is the holidays, and there are a lot of new clothing items and old favorites to get your penguin into the holiday spirit this year.
