Club Penguin Herbert’s Revenge Out Next Month

A new Nintendo DS game called Elite Penguin Force: Herbert’s Revenge will be coming out next month. This probably explains why we’ve had to wait so long for a new mission in the Club Penguin web game. They’re probably waiting to release the new mission so that they can promote the DS game launch at the same time. Disney is really good with marketing and launches that way.

There aren’t too many details about the plot of the next DS game, but you can take a look at the sneak peek published on the main Club Penguin blog. They’ve included a screen shot of a polar bear ice sculpture that appears in the game.

I just saw this on Amazon.com today. It looks really cool. This won’t be available until September 30, but you can pre-order it now. It’s the collector’s edition of the Club Penguin Elite Force game for the Nintendo DS. In addition to the game, you will get a special Elite Penguin Force skin for your DS, a cool stylus and a 2500 coin card. It costs $34.99, which is about eight dollars more than the game by itself on Amazon. It’s a pretty good deal if you don’t already have the DS game.
