The Club Penguin 5th Anniversary Party has arrived and it’s all happening as usual at the Coffee Shop in Town. It’s only here for one day, so waddle on over as soon as you can. The highlight of the party, as always, is the free anniversary party hat, which you will find in a gift box at the bottom of the room. Walk over it and you’ll get the party hat for this year, which has four different colored stripes: red, yellow, orange and green. You can see the four previous party hats on display on a shelf next to the stairs leading up to the book room.
There’s also a special celebration stamp you can earn while you’re here. To get it, click on the giant 5th anniversary celebration cake to blow out the candles. You’ll earn the new stamp!
You can also head up to the Book Room to check out the new Club Penguin yearbook for 2009-2010, which you’ll find in the bookshelf.

The newest Club Penguin EPF Field-op mission has been released. As always, when you log in your spy phone will be blinking red. Click on it and then visit EPF HQ to get the details. In this mission, someone has tampered with the steamer in the Coffee Shop. It’s turned up to dangerous levels. You’ll need to go there and power up a new safety override for the steamer and make sure all the citizens are safe.
To get started, go to the Coffee Shop either using the Map or the teleport feature on your Spy Phone. Then look for the steamer in the upper-right corner of the Coffee Shop. If you go on a busy server it won’t be too hard to find. LOL.
The crowd's not here for the great tasting coffee.
When you’re in the correct spot, your spy phone will blink green. Click on it and you can do the puzzle. This puzzle is pretty easy and we’ve seen it a few times before. It’s the Micro Battery puzzle and all you need is a little patience and you’ll be able to finish it in no time. After you complete the puzzle, you’ll get a point for spending on EPF gear.
Here’s a video (in 2x speed) that shows the entire mission.
The new pin is here! It’s a Hot Chocolate pin and you’ll find it (where else!) inside the Coffee Shop. I think the Coffee Shop has been the site for more pins than anywhere else, but I can’t be sure. Enjoy the warm tasty cup o’ hot chocolate. Mmmmm.

Hey, it's not all about Club Penguin. Another game I love to play is Poptropica and I have a blog all about that game with secrets, walkthroughs and cheats. Poptropica is a very fun game to play with lots of quests in the form of islands that are released every few months. Kind of like the old missions in Club Penguin, but much bigger and more fun. If you like Poptropica or want to try it out, check out my other site.
