The latest Club Penguin collectible pin has been hidden on the island. This time, it’s the Gold Anchor Pin and you can find it at the Iceberg. Look up in the top left corner of the screen to spot it. The Gold Anchor pin is here to help celebrate the upcoming Club Penguin Adventure Party for 2011.
The all-new Club Penguin Adventure Party 2010 has arrived in Club Penguin. It’s a big event this year with a water adventure theme. You’ll find all kinds of stuff, like pirate ships and mermaids all over the island.
Free Item: Hard Hat
If you don’t already have the hard hat, you can get it at the cove. Walk over to the jackhammer and you’ll get this item. You’ll need it later to dig for the treasure after you do the scavenger hunt.
Free Item: Marooned Outfit (Members Only)
The marooned outfit is hidden in the tree fort, a members-only area.
Paid members on Club Penguin can get a second free item. It’s called the Marooned Outfit, and you can get it in the Tree Fort. To get there, go to the forest and then click on the rope ladder attached to the tree. You’ll end up in the tree fort, which is a special area for members only. In the lower left corner you’ll see the marooned outfit.
Members can get a free outfit to make them look like they've been marooned on an island.
Paper Boat Scavenger Hunt
The paper boat scavenger hunt has returned. Here is a complete video walkthrough that shows you where all of the paper boats are hidden. This time, there’s a special twist at the end. After you find all the paper boats, you need to complete a treasure map and then go to the spot marked on the map (it’s at the Cove) to dig for the treasure. Your prize is a white pirate bandanna.

Once you get all of the paper boats, you can click on the Build the map button. You then need to arrange the pieces into the final map, which shows where the treasure is located. You’ll also get a treasure cove background item for your player card.
Next, go to the Cove and put on your hard hat (and just your hard hat). Then do the dance move by pressing the D key or use the icon in your toolbar menu. Make sure you’re standing on the big purple X. Soon, you’ll get a white pirate bandanna as a free item.
The Pirate Bandanna is a free item for anyone who completes the paper boat scavenger hunt.
Other Adventure Party Attractions
This year’s Adventure Party is filled with decorations and special secrets and surprises. A lot of the areas in Club Penguin have been re-designed with an adventure theme. Here are some of the best parts to check out.
Tree Fort (Members Only)
The tree fort is located above the Forest. Go to the forest and then click on the rope ladder to get to the tree fort. Once there you can pick up the free item for members only (the Marooned outfit mentioned above). You can move your mouse over the bird statues to make them chirp. You can also throw snowballs at the pink plant in the bottom-right corner to make it grow really large.

Ship Battles (Members Only)
There’s something new for the Adventure Party this year. A new area with two ships on it. You can stage a battle between the two ships. One is a red pirate ship and the other is a yellow navy ship. You can choose either side. Each ship has cannons that fire at each other and cause damage. The yellow ship cannons fire when penguins stand on platforms next to them. The red ship’s cannons fire when buckets are filled with thrown snowballs. When the cannons hit, leaks spring up and you need to repair them with your jackhammer (wear your hard hat and press the D key).

Once again, it’s nearly time for another visit from Rockhopper the pirate penguin. Captain Rockhopper’s ship, the Migrator, can be spotted on the horizon when you click on the telescope at the Beacon on top of the lighthouse. He’s on his way to help kick off the Adventure Party, which begins on June 18. It’s [...]

Hey, it's not all about Club Penguin. Another game I love to play is Poptropica and I have a blog all about that game with secrets, walkthroughs and cheats. Poptropica is a very fun game to play with lots of quests in the form of islands that are released every few months. Kind of like the old missions in Club Penguin, but much bigger and more fun. If you like Poptropica or want to try it out, check out my other site.
