The new assignments for Club Penguin EPF agents have just begun. Instead of lengthy missions like we got from the PSA, the EPF is handing out Field-Ops, or mini-missions. It sounds like there will be a new one to do each week. The first Field-Op is to shut down a dangerous popcorn device planted on the island by Herbert the Polar Bear.
To accept the assignment, go to the EPF command room and click on the Field-Ops screen in the upper right corner. You’ll see the details of the first assignment. The clue is to look for the device “near a big letter S.” That big letter S is the outside of the Night Club in Town, where there is a sign that says, “Disco” outside. The sign has a very large letter S. Walk up to it and click on it. Your EPF spy phone will ring and then you can click to complete the task.
You’ll get a challenge where you have to match up wires from a circuit board on the popcorn device. To play the game, click on any one of the red dots to reveal its symbol. Then click on the other dots to find a matching symbol. When you find two that match, click on them both again to turn them green. When you get two green dots that match, the circuit between them is destroyed. Match all the pairs to win the game.
After you win the game, you’ll earn an EPF medal. You can turn in the medals you win for special EPF gear. Non-members can only get the EPF earpiece which costs 1 medal. Members can save them up or use their first medal to buy either the EPF Earpiece or the Delta Shades, which are part of the Basic Set Delta outfit. Each week there will be new Field-Ops so after a while you’ll be able to get the whole set if you’re a paid member on Club Penguin.
