There are a lot of disappointed penguins out there. It’s now January 2 and there are still none of the promised updates on Club Penguin, all of which were supposed to come yesterday, according to the Penguin Times and Club Penguin blog posts:
- New Year’s Fireworks (probably going to be canceled at this point)
- January issue of the Club Penguin Style clothing catalog
- A new pin
No one knows why Club Penguin didn’t make the updates, especially since on Thursday they released the newspaper saying that they were all coming out the next day. Probably they had some server problems that prevented the updates from going live. Because Friday was a holiday, the employees in charge of fixing things were not available. But still they should have made a post on their blog letting everyone know what’s going on! Well, we might have to wait a bit longer for the catalog and pin, and I doubt they’ll bother with the fireworks now. But look at the bright side! You still have some time to get that snowman pin and any of the December catalog clearance items.

I know! I have been waiting in the gift shop for 2 days! It is so annoying! I know Club Penguin will fix it somehow, but there are penguins threatening to sue! I think thats just stupid.

I am currently on strike on cp UNTIL they make the updates. that means i wont do missions, AND wont give tours.People are getting mad, and i love the fireworks! cp is going to lose A LOT OF PENGUINS if they dont keep the promise! WE ARE STUCK IN 2009 AND NEED NEW ITEMS!
Your Prob. right , no fireworks , theres no bright side for me tho , i bought everything in all the catalogs and i got the pin so theres really no bright side for me. Everyone is in the giftshop danceing or saying cp is hello , making it look like a bad word. Cp messed up , i hope there going to make up for it!

Sorry but in my server everything is in place fireworks catalog in January and the new pin. The problem is that the fashion catalog it’s written in 2009 that is oops!
