I also mentioned this in my Club Penguin 4th Anniversary post, but since a lot of people are asking about how to get the hat I’ll explain it again in more detail.
To get the hat, go inside the Coffee Shop, where the main party is. There is a piñata hanging up on the ceiling right above where the stairs to the book room are. Click on the piñata once to make it swing and the party hat will drop out of it and land on the floor. It can be a little tough to spot if a lot of penguins are standing around. But even if they are, just walk over to that spot to pick up the hat.
The hat is blue and purple striped. Anyone can get it because it’s a free item. But it will only be available during the party and remember it’s a one-day event. So waddle on over there now!

The hat is worthless because you can get that any pin any year! But the anniversary cake is awesome it comes in different colors!!You find the cake in the Boiler room near the pot thingy(every year also).
