Cove
The Cove is one of the newer areas in Club Penguin. It was first available in 2007 and was introduced with a member party. Once the party ended, non-members were allowed to get in as well and the surfing game, Catchin' Waves was introduced to the game.
The Cove is a popular spot for parties and a lot of Club Penguin events and parties have taken place here. The Cove is usually decorated for the main Club Penguin Parties and several free items have been given out at the Cove, including the maracas at the Music Jam 2008 party and the mini-sombrero from the 2009 Fiesta Party.
Catchin' Waves
The primary attraction at the Cove is the mini-game called Catchin' Waves, which can be played by waddling over to the Surf Hut.
Lifeguard Chair and Binoculars
There is a lifeguard chair and binoculars in the middle of the Cove. When you click on the binoculars, you will get a view of the ocean, just like you do when you click on the telescope at the Beacon. If you watch through the binoculars for a while, you will see a penguin riding an inner-tube being pulled by a speedboat and sometimes a yellow fish jumping out of the water.
